Polit-X Media Monitoring

New feature on Polit-X – Monitor hundreds of news media and more than a thousand different journals in cooperation with GBI-Genios.

Thanks to the new cooperation with our strategic partner GBI-Genios, all users of Polit-X now have access to an individual media monitoring feature and a media archive. For the time being, access to these new features is available free of charge.

Monitor daily and weekly newspapers, journals and specialist literature

We provide you with access to hundreds of national, international, regional and local print as well as online media, from „Aachener Nachrichten“ to „Zuger Presse“. You can find a complete listing of included titles here. GBI-Genios is a subsidiary of Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung GmbH and Handelsblatt Media Group and offers content of German-language newspapers and specialist press (more than 1.100 journals) as well as business relevant specialist literature (e-books). All of these media are now part of your media monitoring at Polit-X.

You can simply use your existing alerts from the Polit-X database or create new search statements separately. Polit-X will keep you up-to-date via mail when new documents in the Genios database are matching your search criteria. You will be transferred directly to the new media monitoring page, where you can view your search results in detail and apply filters as usual, for example to only display German newspapers of record or only those from certain federal states.

Pay only what you need

Due to the copyright rules of publishing houses, GBI-Genios charges a small fee for accessing the fulltext of media articles. This is common practice for media monitoring features. At Polit-X you only pay what you really need, as you are not obligated to monthly purchase a certain amount of articles. If you want to read the full text of articles, you can purchase them individually for a small fee at GBI-Genios using the usual micropayment systems or sign into your GBI-Genios account to organize your accounting. You will receive the article as a single file, complying with copyright laws.

For decades, the company is working closely and trustfully with more than 400 publishing houses and content-providers. Now Polit-X provides you with access to this large media database. GBI-Genios is solely responsible for pricing and included metadata for the individual articles. For copyright reasons, text previews are not available in your notification emails.
